Three years ago I left Seattle after 34 years to work in Phoenix. I ended up getting a beautiful house not far from Lake Saguaro in Mesa. I love it here. It’s so cool to see the quail and Javelina in my yard while kicking back with a glass of wine on my patio watching the sunset and then seeing the lights of Phoenix. For fun I play outside. I love the outdoors. It’s my church. Weekend getaways to backpack, camp, hang out around a campfire, hunt & fish, take pictures of nature, get the boat out on the lake or just beat up on the ATV have always been my thing. It’s so nice living so close to all that! When I’m not out gallivanting around some mountain or lake I like DIY projects around the house. I feel a sense of pride in that I can take care of, fix, or improve the things I work so hard to earn. It is also nice to have a gourmet dinner with good company weather that is at home (I’m a good cook) or at a nice restaurant (I love Bourbon and Bones in Old Scottsdale) It would be so nice to spend time with someone who can enjoy and appreciate these things. Someone that appreciates the basic things in life. Someone that can be comfortable going out to a nice dinner and sitting around a campfire. Is this you? |
